And I mean the statement that I have made in the subject!!!
Don’t you think so? People who say that you need to save the planet, plant more, use less of plastic, use less of paper, do not print and waste, conserve water etc etc… giving lectures and lectures on global warming, why should one not take non-vegetarian food, how man is degrading the nature, saving ozone layer, save animal and aquatic species before they extinct… uuffff!!! They do not stop at all… they say that it will affect the coming generations… Bullshit!!!
Don’t you think so? We are here to enjoy… Live life for the fullest! Enjoy each moment! Live Life King-size / Queen-size!! Aaahhh… thats life now!!
But… there is always a but… People who fall under the second category of living only for themselves are even more meaner… may be the meanest of all!! They do not want to think about anything else but themselves!! They do not care if the animals are getting extinct, if humans are occupying land like hell, if they are cutting down trees like crazy, eating non-veg, if the earth is dying with increasing heat! Nothing will they care about.. all they want is their comfort! What can one take once one is dead? Nothing… right? So, enjoy as much as you can when you are “alive”!!
It simply boils down to -
1. I do not care if my grand grand grand.. children are going to suffer (Thank God! I will not live till that time to see their sufferings!)
2. I do not care if my grand grand grand.. children will not have enough water to drink (Blame their parents for not earning enough to “buy” desalinated water..Anyways, by the time my grandchildren’s generation comes, there will be not much water to drink as I am wasting it so much by myself. Multiply it by 4 and odd billion population [the other 2 and odd billion do not have any special privileges like you and me to waste natural resources])
3. I really don’t care if my grand grand grand.. (again!!) do not have food to eat, air to breathe or even if they cannot enjoy the natural sceneries.. They will be obviously be whiz-kids (the rate at which the technology is growing) and there might be special suits for them to filter air, to protect them from UV rays that reach the atmosphere.
What the hell is happening to us? Are we no more humane? Can’t we realize that we are raping the earth left, right and center and support ourselves for doing so?
I leave it to you, your conscience to decide what world do you want to leave your coming generations?

Thought provoking write-up. But, dont you think that it is really harsh to call all of them “mean” ? If the people who want to save earth just implement thier ideas and not enforce it upon others, it should be appreciated. As they are doing their bit to the world.
Happiness has always been over rated. What is happiness to me, may not be happiness to another person.. As you said perspectives of people are different, but do your bit to the society.
May be they find satisfaction in doing the same..
